OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF SECOND QUARTER 2018 WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY

The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted Officers’ Training Day for the second quarter 2018 at the Regimental Centre on 27 March 2018. A total of two hundred officers attended for the programme under the supervision of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc.

The day’s programme commenced with Physical Training followed by Sword Drill in the morning session, as next item of the day, Lt Col OR Rajasinghe - SLAGSC delivered a comprehensive and informative lecture on “Procurement Procedure in the Sri Lanka Army” which immensely benefitted the audience to improve their knowledge on Procurement Procedure of the Sri Lanka Army. In the afternoon 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a presentation titled “Global Terrorism and its Effects” which gave clear insight on the subject.

As the final event of the day “Dinners’ Club” was held where Senior Lecturer Mr. Samantha Rathnayake from University of Jayawardanepura delivered a timely important lecture titled “Accountability and Responsibility” which too immensely benefitted the audience to practice their Command and Control over their subordinates.
