OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY OF FIRST QUARTER 2019 WAS HELD SUCCESSFULLY

The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted Officers’ Training Day for the First quarter 2019 at the Regimental Centre on 29 March 2019. A total of hundred fifty officers attended for the programme under the supervision of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General MKD Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.

The day’s programme commenced with Physical Training followed by Sword Drill in the morning session, as next item of the day, Maj S C Edirisinghe - SLAGSC delivered a comprehensive and informative lecture on “War history and the Kokavil attack” which immensely benefitted the audience to improve their knowledge on war history. In the afternoon 2nd Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment conducted a presentation titled “Introduction of Private Universities & Implication on the Education System Sri Lanka” which gave clear insight on the subject.

As the final event of the day “Dinners’ Club” was held where Mr. Niranjan Madawala delivered a timely important lecture titled “Know Yourself” which too immensely benefitted the audience.
