Newly-promoted SLSR Senior Officer Saluted at His Regimental HQ in Ambepussa

Newly promoted senior officer was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant - SLSR, Brigadier MGW Wimalasena RSP on behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment SLSR.

As the commencement of the ceremony, a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour were presented to the chief guest at the Parade Ground by the SLSR troops, followed by a Planting of Sapling and floral tribute to the fallen SLSR War Heroes at the Regimental Monument was conducted.

Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and General Officer Commanding -11 Infantry Division, Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu together with Officers and Other Ranks of SLSR joined the felicitation ceremony.
