Extracting a new welfare project to the troops of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in Ambepussa inaugurated budget fresh vegetable corner this morning (13) with the participation of Mrs Omila Jayawardena, chairperson of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch.
The new budget vegetables stall provides fresh vegetables for a reasonable price to the troops and their families.
This project was started with the guidance of Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment SLSR and the supervision of Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala, Centre Commandant SLSR.
Centre Commandant Regimental Centre SLSR, Staff officers, Members of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch and a few other ranks attend the event.
