MAJOR GENERAL MKD PERERA RWP RSP USP ndu FELICITATED AT THE REGIMENTAL CENTRE
\r\nMajor General MKD Perera RWP RSP USP ndu who promoted to the rank of Major General after rendering a valuable service to the Sri Lanka Army as well as to the motherland was felicitated at the Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ambepussa (30). A guard of honour was accorded to him witnessed by many senior officers, officers and other ranks of the Sinha Regiment.\r\n\r\n\r\nAfter the guard of honour Maj Gen Perera participated for the tea party organized by the Warrant Officers\' & Sergeants\' Mess and planted a sapling of sandalwood to mark the occasion.\r\n\r\nLater he was welcomed at the Officers\' Mess by Maj Gen MAM Dias RWP RSP USP psc on behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment. Finally Maj Gen Perera was presented with a memento to mark the occasion.
