Major General Palitha Prasanna Fernando RWP RSP USP ndu and Major General Lalith Ratnayake who promoted to the rank of Major General after rendering a valuable service to the Sri Lanka Army as well as to the motherland were felicitated at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Ambepussa on 07th December 2019.
A guard turnout & a ceremonial parade presented to newly promoted Maj General Palitha Prasanna Fernando RWP RSP USP ndu and and Major General Lalith Ratnayake by Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops. The event was followed by planting a tree sapling, paying obeisance to the fallen SLSR war heroes at the Regimental Monument and tea party at WOs’ & Sgts’ Mess in customary manner.
The event also textured with the Lunch hosted in honor of the newly promoted Major Generals by all Officers at the Officers' Mess.
