MAJ GEN AP DE Z WICKRAMARATNE RWP ndu psc VISITS ABIMANSALA ANURADAPURA

The Commandant SLAVF and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment visited Abimansala at Anuradhapura where a group of permanently dependent War Heroes are housed for the rest of their lives on 18 May 2018 along with Major General Laksiri Waduge and few staff officers of Sri Lanka Sinha regiment.

Colonel HMNB Hearath Commandant Abimansala Anuradhapura received Major General Piyal Wickramaratne and other senior officers.

Afterwards the visiting Major General Piyal Wickramaratne made inquiries as to how the Abimansala, Anuradhapura looks after those inmates. While visiting wards in the company of the senior officers, Major General Piyal Wickramaratne spoke to several inmates. Further discussed with the staff of Abimansala Anuradhapura and given some valuable guidance regarding treating of inmates.
