HONORARY TITLE \"DESHA KEERTHI LANKA PUTHRA\" AWARDED TO COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT
Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Colonel of the Regiment SLSR & Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) was awarded the honorary title \"Desha Keerthi Lanka Puthra\" on 01st April 2016 at the \"Sandahiru Seya\" premises, Anuradhapura.
The honorary title awarded by the Maha Sangha of Sri Lanka Ramanna Nikaya as a recognition of the services that have been rendered to uplift the life standard of the people in Wanni.
A large number of gathering including Ven. Napana Pemasiri Thero, Mahanayake of Sri Ramanna Nikaya, members of the Maha Sangha of Sri Lanka Ramanna Nikaya, Bishop Norbert Marshall Andradi with many army & civil invitees attended the felicitation ceremony.
