Funeral Troops Paid Last Respect to one of Opening Members of SLSR

A military funeral that took place on Monday evening 31 August 2020 at Divithotagala Cemetery, saluted to one of the most dedicated Senior Non Commissioned Officer of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment who passed away while on retirement, having served the Army for more than 22 years.

Sergeant (Retd) M. B Kosgahakumbura of the 1st Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and who was residing at Palugama, Kosgahakumbura, Keppetipola had contributed to initiate the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment as one of the 22 members, passed away last Sunday 30th August 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Military funeral organized under the close supervision of Major Chandana Bovala, 2nd In Command, 3 (Volunteer) Sinha Regiment took charge of the remains of late Sergeant as the funeral procession reached the Divithotagala cemetery premises where SLSR soldiers saluted.
