Completing long due need fully fledge war veteran Accommodation facility was declared open for them during a simple Ceremony on 17 July 2019 at Headquarters Battalion Sri Lanka Singha Regiment.
Deputy Chief of Staff Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment Major General Kumudu Perera along with the president Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Shiromi Masakorala admitted the need of air condition living for men who physically handicap during war.
Funds were generated from ‘Sinha Diriya’ projects under the supervision of Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch. Regimental Centre Commandant Brigadier Ajith Pallawela, secretary Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Padmini Pallawela accompanied the chief guest and Mrs. Shiromi Masakorala to the event. Commanding officer Maj Chandima Sumanasekara and his Battalion staff supervised the said Project.
