Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid a farewell to its outgoing 21st Regimental Sergeant Major S/364202 WO 1 H M P B Nawarathna USP on 27th February 2021 who retired after serving more than 22 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army. The ceremony was held in its customary way at Regimental Centre, Ambepussa.
A Guard of Honour was presented by SLSR troops to WO 1 H M P B Nawarathna USP at the Regimental Parade Grounds. He also paid a tribute to the Fallen War heroes at SLSR War Heroes Monument. After all Ranks, tea party, the day's event also textured with the Farewell Dinner hosted in honour of the outgoing Regimental Sergeant Major by Senior Non Commissioned Officers of the Regiment.
