Major General J K R Jayakody RWP USP, Deputy Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) conducted an official visit to the Rear Headquarters of 5 and 11 (V) SLSR Battalions and 3 (V) SLSR Battalion on 26 and 27 July 2025.
During the visit, the Colonel of the Regiment inspected the operational readiness and administrative efficiency of the Rear Headquarters of 11 (V) SLSR in Kothmale, the Rear Headquarters of 5 (V) SLSR in Maberithenna, and 3 (V) SLSR in Nuwara Eliya, including its ‘A’ Company located at Piduruthalagala. The Commanding Officers and Officers of all battalions extended a warm welcome to the Colonel of the Regiment and delivered comprehensive briefings on the operational status and overall functioning of their respective establishments. Meantime, Major General Rohan Jayakody briefed his vision to the Commanding Officers, officers and other troops and provided necessary instructions.
Brigadier H A I Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, the Centre Commandant of the SLSR also took part in the visit.
