COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT CEREMONIALLY TAKES OVER DUTIES
Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu psc ceremonially took over the duties as the Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment on 15th September 2012 at Sinha Regiment Headquarters at Ambepussa. A guard of honour was accorded to Major General Boniface Perera who is the 7th Colonel of the Regiment of Sinha Regiment followed by a tree planting and opening of the newly constructed computer lab at the Ambepussa camp.
Another significance event of the day was promoting of the Sri Lanka’s first ever Paralympics medal recipient Pradeep Sanjaya to the rank of Staff Sergeant by the Colonel of the Regiment.
