THE COLONEL OF THE REGIMENT ATTENDED FOR A TREE PLANTING PROGRAM AT NEW ARMY HEADQUARTERS

By fulfilling an expectation of Commander of the Army, Major General L H S C Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, an “Araliya” tree planting program was held at the entrance of new Army Headquarters on 23 December 2019. The area was covered about 1700 meters along the Denzil Kobbekaduwa road in Battaramulla up to Sri Jayewardenepura Army Headquarters, starting from the Central Environment Authority (CEA) junction.

The Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Major General Manoj Mudannayake RSP USP participated for the said event and planted 06 “Araliya” trees in different colours along the main entrance of new Army Headquarters.
