Army Personnel Educated on ‘Drugs Prevention and Dangerous Drugs
Troops at the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in a bid to enlighten on the use of ‘Dangerous Drugs and Drugs Prevention’ launched an awareness programme on Thursday (18) March 2021
As one of their social responsibility projects, Ms. J. A. Iresha Sewwandi, Drug Surveillance and Information Officer of the National Dangerous Drug Control Board conducted a lecture to the success of the programme.
During the programme, the Deputy Director of the directorate of the Bureau of Rehabilitation conducted a lector on ‘Stress Management’ while educating the soldiers on prevention from the use of dangerous drugs.
Brigadier Dammika Dissanayake, Centre Commandant RC SLSR, Colonel Dulith Perera, Deputy Centre Commandant RC SLSR, Staff Officers and other ranks attended the programme.
