1st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Constructs a New Home for a Family in Loluwagoda

In line with the visionary guidance of the Commander of the Army, the 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (1 SLSR) has successfully completed the construction of a new home for a family in Loluwagoda area.

The newly built house was officially handed over to the family on 10 June 2025, during a ceremony attended by Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The project was implemented under the leadership and supervision of Major MANC Wickramasinghe RWP RSP USP psc Commanding Officer of 1 SLSR. The initiative was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the battalion’s troops along with generous financial and material support from civil donors.
