Troops of the 12 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) recently organized the Inter Battalion Tug of War competitions - 2022 tournament at the Yatiyana Maha Vidyala Ground.
A total of thirteen teams from SLSR Battalions took part in the event.
12 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 15 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment teams vied in the finals and 12 SLSR clinched the champions.
Lieutenant Colonel C Sumanasekara, General Staff Officer I (Ops) 12 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest and awarded the trophies to the winners.
Commanding Officers 12 SLSR Major M. C. A. S Jayasekara, Senior officers, Officers and other ranks participated in the awarding ceremony.
