1 SLSR Karate Players Win Inter Battalion Championship-2023

The Inter Battalion Karate Championship-2023 of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) got underway at the SLSR Regimental Headquarters Indoor Stadium during 14 -16 August 2023 with the participation of all unit Karate players.

All the SLSR battalions participated in the tournament and the final battle was fought between 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 14 Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. After a challenging tussle, the 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment players became champions.

Brigadier M. P. N. A Muthumala USP psc, Chairman - SLSR Karate Committee attended karate finals as the Chief Guest. Brigadier C.S Thibbotuge, Center Commandant of the Regimental Centre – SLSR, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks joined to watch the finals.
