Colonel HA KEERTHINATHA RSP KSP psc assumes office as the Centre Commandant of the Regiment, SLNG

Colonel H A Keerthinatha RSP KSP psc assumed office as the 8th Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) on Monday (13) at the SLNG Regimental Centre.

The Centre Commandant on arrival at the Regimental premises was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance and welcomed by the Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel N H J M Nawarathne. Thereafter, the Centre Commandant placed a floral wreath at the fallen war heroes’ monument of Sri Lanka National Guard and later he placed his signature to a formal document amidst religious observances to signify the acceptance of the new office.

Afterwards, Centre Commandant added memories to assumption of his new office by planting a sapling in the premises, then following a troops address at the Guardians Facility Complex. Then new Centre Commandant was accompanied to tea held in his honour where he had a cordial interaction with the gathering. The officers’ address culminated the day program, the Deputy Centre Commandant, Regimental Staff and Commanding Officers attended the event.
