The Dining facility and Ante Room of the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess of Sri Lanka National Guard were Ceremonially opened on 21 September 2017 by Colonel of the Regiment Major General PiyalWickramaratne RWP ndupsc. This occasion was graced by Brig DHMWB Thammita- Centre Commandant and other senior officers of the Regiment with the invitation of Regimental Sergeant Major, WO I KDS Karunaratne. Regimental Sergeant Majors of all battalions were participated for the event and number of Senior Non Commission Officers were witnessed the event proudly.
These facilities were long felt need of the Warrant Officers and Sergeant’s’ Mess. These needs made become a reality with the mediation and directions of Col of the Regiment and with the maximum enormous contribution of Regimental Construction Teamleaded by Major HGB Priyantha SLNG.
