FAMILY MEMBERS OF GUARDIANS OFFICERS MEET IN AMBEPUSSA FOR A GET TOGETHER
SLNG organized its first ever regimental officers’ Get – Together on 23 September 2017 at Regimental Centre – Sri lanka Sinha Regiment. The event was spearheaded by SLNG - SVB Chairmen Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne on the guidance of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc.
During the get-together, families of nearly 250 Officers shared many happy moments amidst various entertaining sessions and visits.
This comprised kids’ fun games and events for adults’ entertainment, inclusive of a friendship cricket competition. The participants were taken on sightseeing where they spent a few hours at Library, Museum and other interesting places in the SLSR Regimental Centre. Scrumptious delicacies had been arranged for the meals and regimental 3 piece band tantalized the musical senses of the attendees.
Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Piyal Wickramaratne and President SLNG – SVB, Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne graced the event as Chief Guests whilst family members of Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant, Regimental Council Members, Commanding Officers and Officers joint hands to share day’s enjoyment.
