A COMMENDABLE DONATION TO DIFFERENTLY ABLED WAR HEROES
“Sinhawalokana” International Foundation, a charity addressing the needs of the special communities joined hands with Mr.Nalin Dissanayaka in donating 44 wheelchairs for the benefit of permanently disabled war heroes and differently abled family members of war heroes.\r\n\r\nThe donation of wheelchairs to SLNG Seva Vanitha Unit officially got underway at the Conference Hall, Regimental Centre SLNG on 07 April 2017.\r\n\r\nPresident SLNG SevaVanitha Unit Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramarathne, Staff Officers at Regimental Centre SLNG and Senior members of SLNG SVU attended the occasion. Representing “Sinhawalokana” International Foundation, its Secretary Mr. Jayan Kahandugoda, Mr. Dumith Vithanage,(The Treasurer) and Sachee Asanka and Mr. Nalin Dissanayake who sponsored a special contribution were also present at the event.\r\n\r\nThe entire event was coordinated by Commanding Officer of 3 SLNG Maj Sampath Dissanayaka.
