Guardians become runners up at Army Inter-Regiment volleyball Championship
Army Inter-Regiment Volleyball Championship organized by Directorate of Army Sports was held on 22 February 2017 at the indoor stadium of Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
The Finals of the Championship Was held between Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Sri Lanka National Guard.
Volleyball team of Sri Lanka National Guard carried the Runners - up trophy under Division \'A\' category.
S/Q03614 Private Kumara WEMIR clinched the \'Best Player\' title at the competition. Deputy Chief of Staff Major General R V Udawatte psc ato graced the occasion as the chief guest.
