The Commander Security Force (East) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka National Guard Major General HRN Fernando RSP ndc made his first official visit to 5th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard -5 SLNG at THANTHIRIMALE On 06th Friday evening.
The Colonel of the Regt SLNG was accorded with a drive pass with military formalities at the main entrance and warmly welcomed by the Maj LRTBP Bandara – CO 5 SLNG. After that The Colonel of the Regt planted a Sandun sapling to commemorate his visit and the Commanding officer of 5 SLNG briefed on administration aspects. Finally the Col of the Regt addressed the troops under battalion.
