The Commander Security Force (East) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka National Guard Major General HRN Fernando RSP ndc made his first official visit to 17th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard-17 SLNG at PADAVIPARACKRAMAPURA On 06th Friday morning.
The Colonel of the Regt SLNG was warmly welcomed by the Maj MDKS Mayadunne – CO 17 SLNG and accorded with a Guard Turnout with military formalities at the main entrance. After that The Colonel of the Regtplanted a Mango sapling to commemorate his visit and the Commanding officer of 17 SLNG briefed on administration aspects. Finally the Col of the Regt addressed the troops underbattalion.
