Seva Vanitha New year trade fair organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit SLNG under the guidance of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General R W W A D B Rajaguru RWP RSP USP ndc psc, and the president of SVU – SLNG, Mrs Shirani Rajaguru, are held on 7th and 8th April 2018 from 1000 am to 1000 pm at Wehera Public Ground, Kurunegala.
All SLNG units have installed trade stalls to meet the domestic requirements of general public during the New Year season. Numerous food items, Clothing, Electrical appliances, Furnitures, Ceramic ware, Decorative, Plants and many more necessities are available at a concessionary price at the trade fair.
On the day of opening, the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General R W W A D B Rajaguru RWP RSP USP ndc psc, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The occasion of opening the trade fair was attended by the President of SVU-SLNG Mrs. Shirani Rajaguru, Government Officials, Brigadier Lal Chandrasiri Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant, a large number of Officers and Other Ranks along with senior members of SLNG Seva Vanitha unit.
