SLNG SEVA VANITHA BRANCH DONATES WORTHY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR CANCER PATIENTS
12 Chemo Beds donated by France Sri Lanka Welfare Association formed under SVU- SL Army were presented to Cancer Treatment Unit at Kandy Teaching Hospital at a simple ceremony on 18.07.2017, fulfilling a long - awaited need.
Hon. President - SVB- SLNG, Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne graced the occasion representing president SVU -SL Army and members of SVB -SLNG too attended the event Further, Mr. Sanath Fernado, President of France - SL Welfare Association, Deputy Secretary Mr. Roshantha Kirieldeniya, Director- Kandy Teaching Hospital Dr Saman Rathnayaka Deputy Diector- Dr Iresha Fernando and a Section of Staff of Kandy Teaching Hospital were also Present at the occasion. Hon. President SVB –SLNG, officially handed over “Chemo Beds†to Hospital Director.
Deputy Centre Commandant of SLNG, Colonel Roshan Jayamanna and a host of Staff Officers at Regimental Centre too attended the event.
