SLNG ORGANIZES A SERIES OF 02 DAYS WORKSHOP FOR ITS SENIOR NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS.

With the wide scope of its present leader, Major General AWMAWN Ranawana RWP RSP ndc psc. , a series of two-day workshop has been planned to conduct with the means of enhancing the standards and knowledge of the senior non commissioned officers of SLNG Battalions. The 4th stage of the series was held on 13 and 14 September 2018 at the facility complex of Heraliyawalawatte camp with the participation of 105 snr NCOs.

The workshop consisted with the no of fruitful lectures which helps the snr NCOs in practicing their command including Drill and PT sessions. Lt Col Faumi Kitchilan VIR (Chief Instructor – Bn Trg Sch 62 Div) delivered the lecture on Leadership and Man Management, made the forum enlighten in the timely subject ,and SO II (OCPC) , Maj Gemunu Amaranayake conducted in Mess etiquette on the first day. SO I Leagal of RC SLNG, Lt Col Mahendra Weeraparakrama covered a vase area in legal subject and Doctor Chintha Weliketiya, psychologist from teaching hospital Kurunegala made the session more worth advising in spending a good family life .Command of Guard of honour, Parade were given in English medium by S/17Q00507 WO 1 P N Saman Kumara . A timely recognized subject, the domestic violence and the protection of children and women was elaborated by the police instructor SI IML Iangasinghe, from police training school Kurunegala. End of the second day ,the student senior NCOs were dispersed happily after having a get together organized in WO& SGT mess.
