The Officers’ Training day of Sri Lanka National Guard got underway on 11 May 2018 for the second quarter of 2018.
The event had been organized on the guidance and supervision of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General AWMAWN Ranawana RWP RSP ndc psc, and it was attended by nearly 150 SLNG Officers.
On the premise of the farsighted concept of the Colonel of the Regiment that, "All officers should be endowed with a wholesome personality nurtured with knowledge and should be empowered the subordinates". Several resourceful lectures were scheduled during the day at the new Auditorium HeraliyawalaWatta.
Lt Col A R Obesekara SLSC, delivered a worthwhile lecture on " Social Etiquette", followed by a presentation on " USA Selects Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel " conducted by a panel of officers, headed by Commanding Officer – 4 SLNG.
The invited lecturer for the Diners Club, Miss Dulani Anjana Premachandra grabbed the attention of all attendees with the lecture on " Organizational Behavior ".
