SLNG OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY HELD FOR THE FIRST QUARTER -2018

The Officers’ Training day of Sri Lanka National Guard got underway on 16 February 2018 for the First quarter of 2018. The event had been organized on the guidance and supervision of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General R W W A D B Rajaguru RWP RSP USP ndc psc, and it was attended by nearly 200 SLNG Officers with Council Members.

On the premise of the farsighted concept of the Colonel of the Regiment that, "All officers should be endowed with a wholesome personality nurtured with knowledge and should be empowered the subordinates". Several resourceful lectures were scheduled during the day at the new Auditorium HeraliyawalaWatta. Maj RPN Priyalal (Rtd), delivered a worthwhile lecture on " The way of winning life. (Attitude & Career development work shop)", followed by a presentation on " Yemen Crisis " conducted by a panel of officers, headed by Commanding Officer – 1 SLNG.

The invited lecturer for the Diners Club, Mr PDNK Palihena - Senior Lecturer University of Rajarata grabbed the attention of all attendees with the lecture on " Productivity Enhancement in Work Place & Career Development ".
