SLNG OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY HELD FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER -2018

The Officers’ Training day of Sri Lanka National Guard got underway on 07 December 2018 for the fourth quarter of 2018.

The event had been organized on the guidance and supervision of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General AWMAWN Ranawana RWP RSP ndc psc, and it was attended by nearly 130 SLNG Officers.

On the premise of the farsighted concept of the Colonel of the Regiment that, "All officers should be endowed with a wholesome personality nurtured with knowledge and should be empowered the subordinates". Several resourceful lectures were scheduled during the day at the Auditorium HeraliyawalaWatta.

Major MMGC Marasinghe SLAMC, delivered a worthwhile lecture on " Healthy Army Healthy Nation", followed by a presentation on " Global Terrorism and its effect" conducted by a panel of officers, headed by Commanding Officer – 6 SLNG.

The invited lecturer for the Diners Club, Professor Kamal Waleboda grabbed the attention of all attendees with the lecture on "Psychological Effect towards Media, Social activities and Social Security ".
