SLNG Inter Battalion Sports Meet commenced on 23 May 2017 at Public Grounds, Anuradhapura.
The competition has been organized under the guidance and supervision of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc and the primary objective of devising the championship was to elevate the talented sports personalities of the regiment up towards national and international level.
Centre Commandant Brigadier D H M W B Thammita graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest whilst a host of regimental officers and other Ranks attended the event.
The completion will be conducted on 24 and 25 May 2017 and Colonel of the Regiment is scheduled to grace the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
