Guard Turn Out and Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Centre commandant, Major General WMDSK Gunawardhane RSP KSP in accordance with military traditions during a formal farewell, held at the Regimental Centre premises, Kurunegala on Saturday (21) under the health guidelines issued by AHQ with attendance of limited crowd.
Troops of the SLNG presented a great Guard of Honour at the parade ground. Officers and Other Ranks were present to witness the event.
Addressing the troops, the outgoing Centre Commandant thanked all ranks for their generous assistance and support extended to him during his tenure.
The outgoing Centre Commandant bade adieu to the Regiment in the dawn of 21st May 2022 amidst gracious greetings of all Guardians, leaving a sign of remorse in the hearts of Guardians Family
