RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES TO COMMEMORATE 26TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SRI LANKA NATIONAL GUARD
Sri Lanka National Guard conducted an All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony on the 28th October 2016 followed by an Alms Giving to the Maha Sangha on the next day to invoke blessings on the Sri Lanka National Guard and its present and past members on the occasion of the 26th Anniversary of the Regiment. \r\nThe religious events were conducted under the auspices of Colonel of the Regiment Maj Gen A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc and the President of the SLNG Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne. Senior Officers, serving members of all ranks, members of SLNG Seva Vanitha Unit and some residents in Wehera, Kurunegala attended the religious rites.
