The Officers' Training Day of 2022 was organized to refresh and enhance the knowledge of the officers of Sri Lanka National Guard, was successfully held on 11th February 2022 at the Regiment Centre.
The training day was conducted under the guidance of Chief of Staff Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel of the Regiment Major General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu and Centre Commandant Brigadier Shean Gunawardena RSP KSP supervise the training day programme.
The morning PT parade conducted as the first itinerary of the day, after that the officers attend for the drill training and the lecture on ‘Officer Career Progression and Way Forward Strategy Action’ Plan which was conducted by Col H A Keerthinatha RSP KSP psc conclude the morning session.
After that Mr. Thilak Kandegama, a renowned ecologist and veteran lecturer of the island, gave keynote lecture on 'Focusing Society to a Healthier Lifestyle through natural Agriculture'. Dr. Asanka Pallewatta share his knowledge with SLNG officers at the Diners Club on ‘5 S with Total Productive Maintenance’ and it was final itinerary of the day.
The Centre Commandant, Council members, Senior Officers and Regimental staff Officers participated under the health guidelines issued by AHQ.
