OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY CONDUCTS WITH THE ARMY CHIEF AS THE CHIEF GUEST

The Sri Lanka national guard Officers’ training day in the second quarter was successfully concluded on Thursday (20) at the Regimental Headquarters with the participation of more than 150 Senior Officers and Officers.

The day’s proceedings commenced with morning physical training sessions, followed by foot/sword drills all officers listened to a guest lecturer on the expose print and social media.

Customary Diners club event conducted with the participation of the Commander of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment as the Chief Guest. Major General Udaya Perera (Rtd) RWP RSP VSV USP USAWC psc attended the Diners Club as the guest speaker and delivered a comprehensive lecture on ‘What Makes a Leader’, in which he enlightened the attendees on the leadership traits.

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Director General General Staff, Major General J.A.R.S.K Jayasekara USP psc, Director General Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Council members and Officers participated in the event.
