Major General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Chief of Staff and Colonel of the Regiment Sri Lanka National Guard visited the Regimental Headquarter Battalion on 06/02/2022.
During the visit, inspected the modified coconut plucking machine, manufactured under the direct supervision of the Lieutenant Colonel SMPK Samarakoon - SLNG Commanding Officer of the Regimental Headquarter Battalion.
It is high quality and safer and more efficient to use than the coconut tree climbing equipment currently on the market and Cos’ highly commended.
Brigadier Shean Gunawardena RSP KSP Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka National Guard and Regimental Centre Staff Officers were present on the occasion.
