The inter battalion marathon of SLNG Regiment was conduted at Kataragama on 07 Jan 2022.
The chief of staff of the Sri Lanka army and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka National Guard Regiment, Major General HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP ndu participated as the chief guset which 90 compititors attend for the Guardians 2022 marathon.
The 1st place was S/2021 VFRD 07595 Recruit Chamod JMLL 13 SLNG, 2nd place was S/2021 VFRD 06693 Recruit Mallawaarachchi MAH 3 SLNG and 3rd Place was S/Q110294 Pte Chamara AMA 3 SLNG.
Few senior officers and staff officers participate for this event adhering to heatlh guidelines.
