THE INAUGURAL MONTHLY MEETING OF SVU SLNG FOR THE YEAR 2017.
The inaugural monthly meeting of SVU SLNG for the year 2017 was held on 28.01.2017 presided by the Hon. president of SVU SLNG at 1000 hrs at the Regimental Conference Hall.
Presenting school necessities to 25 children of SLNG war heroes who made the supreme sacrifice become differently abled in action and serving members took place at the event and certificates were awarded to 10 SLNG members who successfully completed for the third consecutive time.
Gifts were presented to guardians of who accompanied children to the event by the Hon. president SVU and Seva Vanitha members.
A valuable lecture on \"Army practices and decorum to be followed by military spouses\" was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Ajith Welimanna, Colonel General Staff at Defence Services Command and Staff Collage at the event.
