Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch provided school study material to children of SLNG families to upgrade the education standards of those children on Wednesday (Jan 25) at the Regimental Centre.
The president Army Seva Vanitha Unit and Gajaba/Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
During the ceremony, 100 students who studying in Grade Five scholarship examination and 132 Students who studying in Ordinary Level Examination received study material. The donation was made with the intention of providing a relief to the SLNG families of those children.
Further, the event extended with another donation of Dry foods and essential commodities for the civil staff employed in the SLNG.
Centre Commandant - Sri Lanka National Guard, Deputy Centre Commandant – Sri Lanka National Guard, Senior Officers, Members of SLNG Seva Vanitha Branch, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
