Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka National Guard Major General A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc paid a visit to 1 SLNG on 30th April 2017.\r\n\r\nColonel of the Regiment declared open the newly constructed Office Complex and Sports Complex during the visit.\r\n\r\nThe troops of 1 SLNG accorded a guard turnout on the arrival of Major General A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc which was followed by a troop address by the Colonel of the Regiment.\r\n\r\n The incumbent Colonel of the Regiment marked his arrival at the battalion by planting a sapling.\r\n\r\nThe event was attended by Centre Commandant Brigadier D H M W B Thammita, Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel J A N K Jayamanne RWP and Regiment Staff Officers.
