A Bodhi Pooja was held at Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya on 25 August 2017 under the guidance and patronage of Colonel of the Regiment and the Hon. President of Seva Vanitha Branch to invoke blessings to the son of the Commanding Officer of 13 Sri Lanka National Guard who was to undergo a surgical operation (Bone Marrow Transplant) on 11September 2017.
This Bodhi Pooja was conducted by Ven. Godapola Nanda Thero of Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya. Members of the SVB along with the Hon. President participated in this event.
