Sri lanka National Guard was held Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha branch on 30 January 22 at the Regiment Centre, presided by the chairwoman of the Seva Vanitha branch Mrs. Janaki Liyanage. This initiative was taken with patronage by Maj Gen HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP ndu Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment - Sri lanka National Guard.
The Chairwoman of the ceremony commented “The aim of the programme was supporting ongoing efforts taken by Sri lanka National Guard and has stepped forward to be implement of future welfare programme and other plans.” The annual general meeting was represented by the limited number of members of the Seva Vanitha branch by appointing new committee members and also scholarships were awarded to four children of war heroes who were got the highest grading with (GCE O/L) Examination.
Presenting with the several regimental staff Officers and the programme was carryout under the health guidelines issued by AHQ.
