“SOORYA MANGALYAYA - 2019” WAS HELD IN SRI LANKA NATIONAL GUARD (SLNG)

2019 New Year Festival of Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) was held on 18.04.2019 at the kurunegala Alakoladeniya Ground on the directions of the Colonel of the Regiment Major General AWMAWN Ranawana RWP RSP ndc psc.

Colonel of the Regiment SLNG Major General AWMAWN Ranawana RWP RSP ndc psc and Mrs Indika Ranawana, Chairperson of Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) Seva Vanitha Unit and along with other guests were warmly welcomed in a Sinhala and Hindu customary way.

The New Year festival was consisted with 22 Segments including selecting an “Aurudu Kumara and Aurudu Kumariya”.

Colonel of the Regiment SLNG, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, Other ranks and their family members as well as civilians of the area took part in the ceremony.
