RHQ SLEME HONOURS ONE OF THE SENIOR OFFICERS IN THE REGIMENT ON THE EVE OF HIS RETIREMENT

Officers of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers bade a farewell to Colonel R C Jayatunga The Commandant of SLEME Base Workshop - Katubedda on 22nd April 2024 with the presence of The Deputy Chief of Staff & Colonel Commandant of SLEME in company with number of Senior Officers, Officers and their wives.

In the evening, a banquet was held for the outgoing Colonel R C Jayatunga at the Regimental Officers’ mess - RHQ SLEME. The Centre Commandant Colonel D A Sirimannage appreciated his service rendered to the Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and to the Sri Lanka Army.

Out going Colonel R C Jayatunga was presented with a commemorative Memento by The Deputy Chief of Staff & Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Maj Gen S P A I M B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc and all the officers.

Number of Senior Officers, Officers and their wives participated in the Farewell Dinner of Colonel R C Jayatunga.
