Colonel DA Srimannage assumed duties as the 21st Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regimental Centre on 10 January 2024.
He was awarded a guard turnout in accordance with the army traditions and the religious activities were conducted with the taking over duties on his office.
There after, the new Centre Commandant addressed the officers and other ranks.
