Commander Forward Maintenance Area (MLT) Major General D A Amarasekara USP received Guard of Honour offered in honour of his Promotion to the rank of Major General Accordance With Military traditions on 12 October 2023 at the Parade Ground of RHQ SLEME.
After the Parade he met Comd Army Logistics Comd & Col Comdt of Corps of SLEME Major General S P A I M B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc and he congratulate the Major General D A Amarasekara USP for his promotion to the Rank “Two of Star General”
Finally Major General D A Amarasekara USP appeared for a group Photograph followed by a Tea Party at the officers mess. Senior officers, Commanding officers, officers and Other Ranks attended for the Felicitation Ceremony.
