Brigadier HMHN Herath assumed duties as 17th Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical & Mechanical Engineers at the Regimental Headquarters – SLEME at 1037 hrs on 21st of January 2020.
The newly appointed Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed on his arrival to the Regimental Headquarter. Thereafter, he was bestowed with Guard Turnout as per the military tradition.
Subsequently, newly appointed Centre Commandant symbolically took his office placing the signature on a formal document at an auspicious time amidst Seth Pirith Chanting by Maha Sangha.
