SOUTH TO NORTH BROTHERHOOD PROGRAMME - SECOND PHASE

1. Under the South to North brotherhood programme - Second Phase, Southern Old Anandians (An Affiliated group under Ananda College Old Boys Association) has organized a journey to Kataragama for the students (38 Students, 9 Teachers and 6 Parents) of Alvai Ambal Vidyalayam in Point Pedro from 17^th Oct to 20^th Oct 2018. During the journey Southern Old Anandians associated with Army under the guidance of Commander of the Army Lt Gen Mahesh Senanayake. Directorate of Supply and Transport has provided the transport and Regimental Centre SLEME has provided the following facilities to make the journey a success;

a. Received from Colombo Fort Railway Station and provided necessary accommodation facilities including tea and breakfast etc.

b. Organized a tea party at Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Officers Mess.

c. Arranged morning tea with snack on 20th Saturday prior to the return of the journey.

2. Further 4 Sri Lanka Singha Regiment and Regimental Headquarters Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment provided meals/snacks and other assistance to Southern Old Anandians to make this event colorful and success.
