A special celebration event on the occasion of the international women’s day was held in evening hours on 08th March 2024 at Minneriya 'Gunner's Club' premises under the leadership of Mrs. Nandanee Samarakoon, the Honorary Chairperson of Seva Vanitha SLEME Branch.
The program which was held in the midst of melodious music was colorful with vibrant performances and singing, and to make the event even more interesting. Several competitions were held exclusively for ladies and special prizes were awarded to the winners. Mrs. Nandanee Samarakoon, the President Seva Vanitha SLEME branch gave away valuable gift packs for all ladies those who were participated in this program.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of SLEME, Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, Senior Officers, number of members of Seva Vanitha SLEME branch as well as their family members attended the event.
